The Challenge
An industrial storage supplier draws every warehouse layout in CAD before quoting it. Turning that drawing into a materials list and a price was done again by hand, counting uprights and beams off the page, and a customer had to read a technical drawing to picture what they were buying.
The Solution
The system reads the layout drawing directly, both its lines and its text, with no guessing involved in the measurements. It writes a plain description of the layout that a person can check and correct for each drawing. One step builds both the 3D model and the price from that description, so the picture the customer sees and the quote they sign can never disagree. The 3D view includes forklifts and staircases and a guided walk that follows the route marked on the drawing.
